Azera — food-waste reduction platform
Marketplace that reduces food waste by offering good surplus food at a discount before it is thrown away.
The challenge
Restaurants and shops had to be connected with buyers, keeping sign-up and the payment journey as simple as possible.
Architecture
Deployed on a VPS with continuous deployment; led the project team.
The solution
Built the backend with Django REST Framework and PostgreSQL: OAuth (Google / Yandex), Eskiz SMS, and full Payme & Click payment flows.
Outcome
Led the project team: task planning, code reviews and mentoring within the team.
